Areas of Expertise
1. Comprehensive treatment of neurofibromatosis (including radical surgical resection, debulking surgery, organ reconstruction after resection of facial neurofibromas, and neurofibromatosis-related clinical trials). He has cumulatively treated more than 8,000 patients with neurofibromatosis and has accumulated extensive treatment experience.
2. He is especially adept at refined and individualized aesthetic treatment of small superficial masses and skin protrusions (lipomas, sebaceous cysts, moles, café-au-lait macules, sebaceous nevi, etc.).
3. Oculoplastic surgery and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures (facial rejuvenation, such as hyaluronic acid fillers and botulinum toxin injections; comprehensive treatment of keloids, etc.).

Scientific Research Achievements
Mainly engaged in clinical and scientific research in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Currently, he has 51 SCI papers as first author and co-first author, 28 as corresponding author and co-corresponding author, with a total impact factor exceeding 400 and more than 1,000 citations by others. Representative findings have been published in journals including Lancet Neurology, Advanced Science, JAMA Dermatology, International Journal of Surgery, STTT, eLife, Journal of Investigative Dermatology, etc. He has obtained 9 national invention patents and has led or participated in 8 national and provincial/ministerial-level research projects.
He serves as Associate Editor of Cellular Oncology (Q1), Secretary of the Youth Group of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of the Neurofibromatosis Expert Committee of the China Alliance for Rare Diseases, and Member of the Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Integrated Rehabilitation Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.
He conducts comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of neurofibromatosis type 1. As one of the principal investigators, he has conducted multiple clinical trials of international orphan drugs and domestic innovative drugs related to NF1, promoted the launch study of selumetinib, and as first author wrote China's first expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of neurofibromatosis type 1.
